Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Clever Paws mobile game (the “App”) collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. The App is published by BS Games, the trade name of Kadri Mervan Gezer (“we”, “us”), who is the data controller for the purposes of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where it applies, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation.
In short: there are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts. Your game progress stays on your device. The App uses Google and Meta services to measure how the game is played, to show rewarded video ads, and to measure our ad campaigns. On iOS, ad tracking only happens if you allow it.
1. Information stored on your device
Your progress, coins, lives, boosters and settings (sound, vibration) are saved on your device only. We do not receive this save file. Uninstalling the App deletes it, although your device’s own backup (for example Android backup) may restore it if you reinstall.
2. Information collected automatically
When you play, the services listed in section 3 collect:
- Gameplay events, such as starting, winning or losing a level, finishing the tutorial, using a booster, watching a rewarded video, and changes to your coin, life and booster balances, and in-app purchases of coin packs (what was bought and when — never your payment details, which only Apple or Google see).
- Identifiers: a random ID the App creates on first launch (it contains nothing about you), app-instance IDs created by Firebase, and, only where you permit it, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android).
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, and time zone.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country or city level). The App does not use GPS or request location permission.
- Ad interactions: which ads were shown, watched or tapped, used to deliver rewards and measure ads.
3. Services we use
| Service | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | Understanding how the game is played (for example which levels are too hard) and improving it | Firebase privacy |
| Google Firebase Remote Config | Changing game settings without an update, including testing game variants such as a level timer | Firebase privacy |
| Google AdMob | Showing optional rewarded video ads; ads may be personalised where you allow it | How Google uses data |
| Meta (Facebook) SDK | Measuring whether our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram brought players to the App; it receives installs, app opens and in-app purchase events | Meta Privacy Policy |
These providers process data under their own policies and may combine it with information they hold about you from other apps and websites. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Why we process it (legal basis)
- To run and improve the game (analytics, remote configuration): our legitimate interest in providing a working, balanced game (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
- To show rewarded ads and deliver their rewards: performance of our agreement with you when you choose to watch a video (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
- Personalised ads and ad-campaign measurement using your advertising identifier: your consent, given through the iOS tracking prompt or your device’s ad settings (KVKK Art. 5(1)).
5. Tracking and your choices
- iOS: on first launch the App asks for permission to track. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, your IDFA is not shared and Meta is told not to use it. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can delete or reset your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads), which also opts you out of personalised ads.
- Ads are optional: you never have to watch one to keep playing.
- Uninstalling the App stops all further collection.
6. International transfers
Google and Meta process data on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States and the European Union. Such transfers are made in line with KVKK Article 9, using the safeguards those providers offer, including standard contractual clauses.
7. How long data is kept
Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics settings, after which Google deletes it automatically. Advertising and measurement data is kept by Google and Meta under their own retention policies. The on-device save is kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
8. Children
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App and want related data removed, contact us and we will help.
9. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 (and, where applicable, the GDPR) you may ask whether we process data about you, request information about it, request correction or deletion, learn who it is shared with and object to processing, including processing based on automated analysis. Because we do not collect your name or contact details, include the random ID or approximate install date so we can locate the data, or simply reset your advertising identifier as described in section 5. Send requests to the email address below — Delete your data shows the steps. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), or to your local data protection authority if you are in the EU or UK.
10. Security
Data sent to the services above travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we rely on providers with strong security practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the App gains new features or services. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted in the App or its store listing.
